I’m Anna, a jewelry maker and lapidary enthusiast based in Edinburgh. I’m currently enrolled in the Jeweller’s Academy Fine Jewellery Diploma. In addition to doing the academy projects, I also do a few of my own. This site is where I share my progress, portfolio, and shop updates for this hobby that I love.

Why “Made by Sunrise?” I tend to get most of my creative energy and focus in the evenings, and when the day job allows, I can blink and suddenly the sun will be rising.

I have one live-in cryptid (dog) named Bonnie. Bonnie is fantastic at quality control, telling me when I’ve been sitting for too long and it’s time to pay attention to her, and is a polish conneseur (ask me how many hunk of unattended (non-silica based!) polish this dog has eaten).

Bon is also a very, very patient jewelry model.
